Gardening seems to be harmless, because you rarely dig deep enough.... but becoming excavator driver in Germany is somewhat more risky.

If you ever wonder why big construction projects take so long in Germany right now: One possible explanation could be all workers deciding to leave work early and have a drink after hearing a metal sound during digging.
German evacuation for WW2 bomb disposal in Augsburg
Just a random question: How does the UXO situation compare between East and West Germany? I saw something on Youtube that talked about how in many cases areas were rebuilt without being swept for explosives, and now when old buildings are replaced by new construction in those areas there's a fair risk of stumbling on UXO. On the other hand, I know that in East Germany there were a lot of areas demolished in WWII that were never rebuilt before reunification. How did that affect UXO sweeping? On the one hand, I'd expect that the same factors that contributed to areas not being rebuilt before unification would probably mean that they weren't swept for UXO before that time. On the other, I'd expect West German construction firms to have a bit more experience with UXO by the time of reunification, and thus for reconstruction of demolished areas in East Germany to be done a bit more cautiously.
Non-Germans being left in place?
I hope you don't get annoyed. I spent a while working as a band coach, consider it professional deformation
- I'm left handed guy playing right handed guitar - makes phrasing notes bit difficult.
You can hear some bass there however it's guitar pitched down octave (don't have proper bass guitar)
Since I'm recording bare guitar signal It'll be easy to "re-amp" the thing and bump up mids.
Holy , google just was offline for a few seconds (confirmed rest of the internet working, about 30 secs later google came back on again. I got scared for a second there...
Stringed right-handed, or upside-down?
I plan buying used bass guitar for that purpose.Uh, uhm, yeah... a bass-guitar from a sampler would probably yield better results in this case.
Yeah, that's the nice thing about virtual amps. Though they still have to convince me that they can do a decent speaker emulation. Our guitarist usually looped the guitar through the distortion of the V-amp, and then recorded the output with a microphone of the speakers. Even with lousy speakers, the result was still better than the "speaker"-emulation by the Vamp. But getting your guitar sound right is a thing that takes months of incremental fiddling anyways, so take your time.
My kid asked me, "Daddy, why don't I get any toys for Christmas?"
"Because Santa hates poor people," was my answer.
My kid thought on this a moment, then said, "Christmas sucks."
"It sure does," I replied.
My birthday is december 26th. in 1996 when I turned 18 on december 26th my Dad gave me 800 dollars in 50 dollar bills, told me to pack my backpack then drove me to the Greyhound bus station and said "Have a nice life son. Out of respect for your Mother and I please live at least 100 miles away."
That was depressing as hell.
My kids are grown and never call me unless they need money.
My wife left me 5 years ago and took the house that I paid the mortgage off over 30 years. She sold the house and bought a condo in Bethesda where she lives with her boyfriend. My beloved dog died two years ago. I am getting forced out of my government job because I got my 30 years in and I'm old.
I spent the last couple nights at a lonely motel room next to the interstate drinking myself silly because I could not bear the Christmas going on at work and in the crappy apartment building I now live in.
I hope my story makes others feel better.
Stringed right-handed eg I play like right handed pearson.
Finally had time to fool around. Still WIP (needs vocals, solo and few touches) but made it pretty far already.
